In Kent and Toma's route if the heroine's amnesia never happened in the first place the heroine wouldn't have changed her view of Kent (which is a major factor talked about in this route) and given him a chance as well as never having her diary with her in her purse in Toma's route, which without it he'd have probably killed the heroine which makes sense why Ukyo says he'll kill her yet it never happens. In Ikki's route, Ukyo and Ikki discuss what's going to happen to the fan club in private, which helps in Ikki protecting the heroine from dying at their hands, since prior to this Ikki didn't really get how serious the club members were and switches his tactics up by trying to give the club more attention.

If you pay close attention to the routes in Shin's the heroine would have died before waking up in the hospital if it wasn't for Ukyo warning Shin or else the emergency crew wouldn't have gotten to her in time. There's also the fact that if wasn't for Ukyo going into these other worlds the heroine wouldn't be able to achieve her happy ending.

I do consider Ukyo's happy ending to be the true ending though if only because it explains why Ukyo is there and solves the issue of his constantly rewinding, looping, and visiting other worlds. Well technically every single ending is 'true' it's just all existing in parallel universes. Ukyo appears in each route yeah but in Kent's route it's the only one that blatantly talks about how Ukyo dies.Īs for Ukyo's route being the 'true' one.
